A Message from Susan Detwiler

Susan DetwilerOver the past 30 years I’ve worked Fortune 500 companies as well as small businesses. I’ve served on the boards of nonprofits, and been their top executive. One thing has become clear.

A lot more gets done when everyone is moving in the same direction.

Without a clear objective, it’s easy to get bogged down in discussions of minutiae. In the case of a nonprofit, that overarching objective is the mission. It’s where everyone in your organization should know that you’re heading. It serves as a compass when you come to a fork in the road.

But sometimes it’s hard to keep the mission in mind when you’re facing the daily problems of cash flow, hurricanes, dropping enrollment, rising need for services, and too much to do in too little time.

That’s why I started The Detwiler Group. My personal mission is making it easier for others to fulfill their missions. I am happiest when I know that my clients are able to make their goals and dreams real.

Give me a call. I’ll listen to your concerns and questions, and then we’ll talk.
